Buies Creek Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend their sincere condolences to the Blackmon family. Dr. Bruce Blackmon, a charter member with our department, passed away peacefully yesterday wrapped in his Buies Creek Fire Department blanket. Dr. Blackmon played an important and pertinent role in developing the fire department that we have to day and we would nog be where we are without him and his impact he made. Please keep his family and our department in your thoughts and and prayers during this time of mourning.
